David Watson joined Epping Tennis Club in 2012 after previous positions at Connaught Club & Thorpe Bay LTC & successful school outreach programmes in both Essex and at the All England Tennis Club in Wimbledon.
Currently an LTA Level Four, Senior Club Coach, David also has extensive player training including:
- Weil Tennis Academy, Ojai, California, 2007/8; Winner Open Under 16 (previous winners include Pete Sampras and John McEnroe); Sanchez Cassal Academy, Barcelona , Spain 2006
- ITF Junior Quarter Finalist Hawaii 2008; Quarter Finalist Bermuda 2008; “Road to Wimbledon” national competition Finalist 2005; - Third in Sunday Telegraph Junior Grand Prix national Finals, La Manga, 2005. - Essex Captain under 16 and under 18; Essex number one Junior player , under 12 and 14 and under 16; Top Ten UK Junior under 14; Winner Essex Closed ages 12 and 14
David's motto is ""All or nothing". "In other words, you give it everything you have or don't bother. My attitude to competition is both physical and mental- you can't control whether you win or lose but you can control how much effort you give.
Our coaching programme, for all ages and abilities, provides a fun and competitive environment for players to learn and reach their potential.
Adult Group Lessions- £7.00 Pay&Play (£6.00 for members)
Wednesday 7.30pm-8.30pm
Cardio Tennis - £7.00 Pay&Play (£6.00 members) Thurs 9.30am
Individual coaching - £30 per hour or £162 for a block of 6.
CANCELLATION POLICY: IF LESS THAN 24 HRS NOTICE 1/2 FEE PAYABLE
Saturday
Red Ball (3 - 8yrs): 9.00-10.00am
Orange / Green (9 & 10yrs): 10.00-11.00am
Junior (11 years +): 11.00am - 12.00pm
Wednesday
Red Ball (3 - 8yrs): 4.30pm - 5.30pm
Orange / Green (9 & 10yrs): 5.30 pm - 6.30pm
Junior (11 years +): 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Individual coaching £25 per session. £132 for a block of 6.
